JH Adaire, Red and Black Ink Peacock (with Happy New Year Doves on Reverse), 1905, Spring Grove PA amateur I'd put the box awayA few more today by a young J. H Adaire of Spring Grove, PA, dated 1905 I bought and sold a handful a month or two ago, then just went back to the seller to scoop up a handful more. Just my sort of naive and exuberant drawings. This is a smaller one relative to the others, but what a bold peacock in bright scarlet! Great ink drawn detailing on the feathers under the read, and just the right fancy cursive lettering on the branch to suit the subject! 6"
