Obviously, this is a case where the Adventure isnt always going to get cast before the creature, but its nice having that late game ability to see a bunch of cards Lagoon Breach is removal, even if it is situational, and then the whale is certainly beefy enough to trade for something, so were talking about a 2-for-1 here
